Mikito Chinen is a Japanese novelist and physician born on October 12, 1978, in Nanjo, Okinawa Prefecture. He graduated from Tokyo Jikei University School of Medicine and is a certified physician in internal medicine. He debuted as an author in 2012 with 'Who is the Blade's Raison d'être,' which is a renamed version of his award-winning work. Known for his medical mysteries, Chinen has published numerous works, including the 'Taka Akamatsu' series, and has been nominated five times for the Bookseller Award.
