Miguel Aroche Parra was a Mexican politician born in Guerrero on August 17, 1915. He was a member of the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM) until his expulsion in 1950, after which he helped establish the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Partido Obrero-Campesino de México. Aroche served as director of its newspaper, Noviembre, and was a political prisoner for 7 years due to his leftist activity. He later joined the Partido Popular Socialista and was a founding member of the Partido de la Revolución Democrática, serving as a Deputy from 1988 to 1991.
