Miguel Ángel Mejía Múnera, also known as "El Mellizo", is a presumed Colombian drug lord and former paramilitary leader born on July 11, 1959. He co-founded the "Los Nevados" drug cartel with his brother Víctor Manuel, sourcing drugs from other drug lords. They have been implicated in extensive cocaine trafficking to the US and Europe, with an operation dismantled in 2003. Mejía-Múnera is linked to paramilitary activities and has arrest warrants issued by Colombian authorities and the US. He was reported to have contracted COVID-19 and was released from US Federal Prison on June 26, 2020.
