Migdia Skarsgård Chinea-Varela is an American screenwriter and director known for her work on TV series like Superboy and The Incredible Hulk. She has acted in Sanford and Son and contributed to theatre journalism. In 2012, she graduated from UCLA, wrote and directed the short film Anonymous, which received accolades at the Cannes Short Film Festival. Her film The Kninth Floor was selected for various festivals. Currently, she is producing The Prince of Old Havana, based on Alberto Yarini's life. Chinea has a German-Jewish heritage through her mother.
