Emile François (Miel) Govaërt is a Dutch entrepreneur and former long-track speed skater who specialized in sprint distances. He achieved third place at the junior Dutch championships in 1976 and became the Dutch champion in 1978 and 1979. Govaërt participated in the world sprint championships three times, with a best finish of ninth in 1982. After a career in real estate, including roles at various companies, he became co-owner and editor of Zuidas Today, a multimedia platform focused on the Zuidas area of Amsterdam.
