Michael Ziegler, born on February 27, 1968, is a Danish civil engineer and has been the mayor of Høje-Taastrup Municipality since 2006. He studied at Høje-Taastrup Amtsgymnasium and graduated as a civil engineer from the Technical University of Denmark in 1992. Ziegler has held various political positions, being a member of the municipal council since 1989 and serving as the group's chair for the Conservative Party. He was notable for demonstrating the community's reputation by temporarily moving to a neighborhood labeled as a 'ghetto.' He was appointed a knight of the Dannebrog in 2014.
