Michael Aloysius Tabor was an American political activist known for his involvement with the Black Panther Party. He was charged with conspiracy to bomb public buildings in New York City and to kill members of the New York Police Department. Tabor fled to Algeria four months into his trial and was ultimately acquitted of all charges. He chose to remain in exile in Africa until his death on October 17, 2010, never returning to the United States.
