Beyond stamps, he created record sleeves, logos, and illustrated books. Goaman served in the Royal Navy during WWII and studied at prominent art schools. He collaborated with his wife, Sylvia Priestley, on various projects including a stained glass window for St Peter's Church. His designs left a significant mark in postal art, influencing British stamp design.
