Michael Edson, known as Mike, is a British priest of the Church of England born on 2 September 1942. He served as the Archdeacon of Leicester from 1994 to 2002. Edson was educated at the University of Birmingham and the College of the Resurrection. He was ordained a deacon in 1972 and a priest in 1973. His ministries include roles at St Peter, Barnstaple, and as Warden of Lee Abbey. He was also the Rector of Torridge and, in retirement, served as Acting Archdeacon of Barnstaple.
