Mercedes Formica-Corsi i Hezode (August 9, 1913 - April 22, 2002) was a Spanish jurist, novelist, and essayist known for her advocacy for women's rights in Spain. Initially a follower of José Antonio Primo de Rivera and a member of the Falange Española, she distanced herself from the party as it strayed from its founding ideals. In the 1940s, she began a career in journalism and literature, using the pseudonym Elena Puerto for her romantic novels. In 1944, she directed the female magazine Medina and contributed to various notable publications.
