Professor Md. Golam Rahman is a prominent academic, media researcher, and communication expert from Bangladesh, born on January 7, 1951. He has served as the Chief Information Commissioner of the Information Commission of Bangladesh and was the Chairman of the Bangladesh News Agency (BSS). He has also held leadership roles at Dhaka University and Daffodil International University, as well as the editor of Ajker Patrika since June 27, 2021. An active member of student politics during his youth, he participated in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.
