Alexander Antonio Guzmán de la Cruz, known as MC Francia, was a Peruvian singer and songwriter born on August 18, 1980. He is hailed as the King of Peruvian Reguetón and one of the main pioneers of the genre in Peru. His debut album, 'Desde la Villa salvaje,' established him as the best-selling Peruvian reguetón artist. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 31 on April 15, 2012, due to complications related to diabetes, after being hospitalized.
