He served as the chief designer at Kristalunie in Maastricht from 1954 to 1972, excelling in the design of glassware and tableware sets. His most notable work is the Carnaval series created in 1956. Additionally, he worked as a teacher for applied arts at a vocational school in Maastricht starting in 1969.
