Max Glauber was a South Tyrolean entrepreneur born on August 9, 1902, in Wilten, Innsbruck. He founded one of Italy's first radio manufacturing plants, Unda Radio, in Toblach in 1925. His company thrived during the early fascist regime, producing popular models like 'Radio Rurale' and 'Radio Balilla', which were promoted as propaganda tools. After overcoming challenges of the Great Depression, he developed radio devices in 1935 inspired by the German Volksempfänger designed by the Nazis in 1933. Glauber passed away on December 27, 1966, in Tavernerio, Italy.
