Born on February 15, 1958, he is most recognized for his role in the musical trio 2nd Chapter of Acts, where he performed alongside his sisters, Annie Herring and Nellie (Ward) Greisen. The trio was active from 1973 to 1988, during which time Ward also pursued a solo music career, releasing several albums that contributed to his legacy in the Christian music scene.
