Matthew McCluskie Watson was a Scottish footballer born on 3 May 1936. He played as a full-back, primarily for Kilmarnock, with whom he made 440 appearances between 1955 and 1968. Watson was part of the 1964-65 Kilmarnock team that won the league title. He also played in the 1960 Scottish Cup final and multiple League Cup Finals. Later, he played for Queen of the South. Watson passed away on 25 October 2015 at the age of 79.
