Mats Birger Rindeskär, known as Mats B, was a Swedish artist, art writer, critic, and curator born on September 27, 1951, in Ludvika. He played a pioneering role in Sweden during the 1970s by engaging with conceptual art and Fluxus movements. Over his career, he contributed to various art journals and served as an editor, notably for Moderna Museet's magazine. Mats B was also a curator for the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 1986 and produced several books, including artists’ books, contributing significantly to contemporary art discourse.
