Matias Keskinen (January 22, 1922 – August 3, 1997) was a Finnish folk artist, photographer, filmmaker, and sculptor. He is best known for his monumental sculpture of President Urho Kekkonen, which weighed 20 tons and stood three meters tall. This sculpture was damaged in 1989 during its relocation from an exhibition at Oulu Rotuaari. Keskinen also created several smaller statues of Kekkonen. His work reflects a significant contribution to Finnish art, particularly in the context of political and cultural representation.
