Masahiro Someya is a Japanese architect born on February 8, 1953, in Chiba Prefecture. He is the founder of Design Shop Architects and has expertise in housing environment research. Someya graduated from Nihon University in 1976 and completed his master's degree there in 1978. He established his architectural firm in 1985 and renamed it Design Shop Architects in 1995. Someya served as a part-time lecturer at Nihon University from 1992 to 1997. Notable projects include Wing Core Yushima, SE-MU Kugenuma Coast, and Teganomori Square.
