Martin Nyaga Wambora is a Kenyan politician born on April 9, 1951. He was the first governor of Embu County, elected in March 2013 on a TNA ticket. Notably, he is the first governor in Kenya to be impeached twice, although he successfully challenged these impeachments and was re-elected in 2017. Wambora previously served as a member of parliament for Runyenjes Constituency from 2003 to 2007. He also held the position of chairman at the Kenya Airports Authority, where he oversaw the agency winning prestigious awards in 2011.
