Martin Meinander (February 17, 1940 – December 16, 2004) was a Finnish entomologist, museum director, and deputy mayor of Helsinki. He developed an interest in insects as a child, encouraged by his biology teacher. Meinander began studying biology at the University of Helsinki in 1958 and became the curator of the Natural History Museum in 1962. He published over 100 scientific articles primarily on Neuroptera and made significant contributions, including a complete classification of Coniopterygidae. He served as a municipal councilor and deputy city engineer in Helsinki until 2003.
