Martin Beversluis, born on June 26, 1972, in Vlaardingen, is a poet and performer based in Tilburg, Netherlands. He has been the city poet of Tilburg since August 30, 2015. Before this role, he published his first poetry collection, 'De Zeisloper', in 1995, and followed it with 'Voltooi in mij' in 1996. He is notable for being the first city poet in the Netherlands and Flanders to present a poetry collection at the time of his installation.
