Commodore Marta Mulkins is a distinguished officer of the Canadian Forces Naval Reserve. She initiated her career through a Summer Youth Employment Program at HMCS Donnacona and specialized as a Diesel Mechanic. After completing Junior Leadership Training, she rose to the rank of Naval Cadet in 1988. Mulkins commanded the HMCS Kingston in 2003, making history as the first woman to do so. In 2015, she achieved the notable position of Commander of the Naval Reserve, marking her significant contributions to the Canadian military.
