Mark van der Horst is a Dutch politician, organizational advisor, and administrator, affiliated with the VVD party. He served as a council member and district alderman in Amsterdam, focusing on finance, education, and civic affairs. From 2002 to 2006, he was an alderman in Amsterdam and briefly acting mayor of Heemskerk. He became a partner at BMC Groep and has been the chairman of MKB Amsterdam since 2007. In 2022, he served briefly as a council member in Haarlemmermeer before resigning to focus on his new job.
