Marjorie Ritchie (29 March 1948 – 25 March 2015) was a Scottish animal researcher and surgeon known for her significant contributions to the field of animal cloning. She was part of the pioneering team that successfully cloned Dolly the Sheep, the first mammal to be cloned from an adult somatic cell, which was a groundbreaking achievement in genetic research and biotechnology.
