Sointu Marja Johanna Oja was a Finnish pianist, born on July 7, 1918, in Valkeala and passed away on October 9, 2015, in Helsinki. She studied piano under notable instructors including Alma Wikeström and Kerttu Bernhard. Oja made her concert debut in 1944 in Helsinki and later taught at the Helsinki Conservatory. Highly regarded as a concert accompanist, she also performed as a soloist and held piano recitals. Oja was married twice, first to Heikki Aaltoila and later to painter Onni Oja.
