Maria Dmítrievna Lukshina, born Maria Tsitsílina on April 7, 1932, in Nowaja Usman, Voronezh Oblast, was a notable Soviet cyclist. She achieved a bronze medal at the first Women's Road World Championship, finishing behind Luxembourg's Elsy Jacobs and her fellow compatriot Tamara Nóvikova. Her competitive spirit and accomplishments contributed to the early development of women's cycling in the Soviet Union. Lukshina passed away on April 14, 2014, in Voronezh.
