Marit Følstad is a Norwegian artist born on February 7, 1969, in Tromsø. She works with photography, video, and installation art. Følstad has studied at Holbæk Art School in Denmark, as well as art academies in Glasgow and Chicago. She has exhibited at notable events including the Mørketidsutstillingen in 2002 and the Festspillene i Nord-Norge. Her film 'Bubbles' was showcased in New York in 2003. Recently, she displayed her work 'No Strange Delight' at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum. She currently resides and works in Oslo.
