Yazdi, a civil engineer and notable Baháʼí figure. Marion documented his contributions in her 1982 book. The couple significantly influenced the Baháʼí community, and their legacy is preserved at the Ali and Marion Yazdi Building in Berkeley, a registered landmark since 2016. Marion passed away on February 2, 1996.
