Marie-Therese von Gunten, born on November 8, 1951, in Baldegg, Switzerland, is a Swiss composer and choir conductor. She began her musical journey in the local yodeling club and later became the leader of the Jodlerklub from Göiesee. Starting to compose in 1981, she created many songs, particularly for yodeling choirs. Notably, in 2011, she wrote a successful yodeling mass called 'Bhüet euch!'. She has received recognition for her contributions to Swiss music, including the prestigious Guldig Violynschlüssel award in 2006.
