He is known as one of the top scorers in FC Barcelona's history, joining the club in 1939 and playing for nine seasons, during which he scored 128 goals in 150 official matches. In the 1942-1943 season, he scored 32 goals, earning the Pichichi Trophy. His biggest defeat as a player was a historic 11-1 loss to Real Madrid.
