Maria Vicol (née Taitiș) was a Romanian fencer, specializing in foil, born on October 17, 1935, in Bucharest, Romania. She represented Romania in the 1950s and 1960s, competing in individual and team events at the Olympic Games in 1960, 1964, and 1968. Vicol won a bronze medal in individual foil at the 1960 Olympics and another bronze with the Romanian women's foil team at the 1968 Olympics. In 1969, she and her team won the World Championship title.
