Mária Róka was a Hungarian canoeist born on September 15, 1940, in Budapest. She notably competed for Ganz-MÁVAG SE and won the Hungarian championships in both single and double kayak events in 1964. At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Róka placed eighth in the single kayak 500m and seventh in the double kayak event, partnered with Katalin Benkő. She was trained by her future husband, László Kemény, and passed away a day after him in September 2021.
