Maria Perxés Santomà (1927-2015) was a prominent Spanish librarian from Agullana, known for her long-term service at the Biblioteca Fages de Climent in Figueres. She began her career after obtaining her degree in Library Science in 1950. Over her 40 years of service, she made significant contributions to local culture, forming relationships with local authors and artists. She was also active in the intellectual community as a member of the Institut d'Estudis Empordanesos. Apart from her profession, she was involved in various cultural initiatives, including restoring her family home. She died in Figueres.
