Maria Feychting, born December 27, 1958, is a Swedish professor of epidemiology at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Since 1987, her research has focused on the health effects of non-ionizing radiation, particularly the risk of brain tumors. She was one of the researchers behind the comprehensive Interphone study, published in 2010, which concluded that no link could be established between mobile phone use and brain cancer. Since 2012, she has been a member of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
