María Felicia Pérez Arroyo, born on March 23, 1951, in Havana, is a Cuban choir director and music educator. She studied choral conducting and piano from 1962-1971. Pérez has taught at several institutions, including the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán and Instituto Superior de Arte, where she founded the Women’s Choir and the Chamber Choir Exaudi. She is known for her numerous awards, including the Alejo-Carpentier Medal and participation in prestigious choir competitions. Since 1998, she has been a professor at Instituto Superior de Arte and became the vice president of the Asociación de Músicos in 2008.
