María Aparicio Calzada, born in Valencia in 1981, is a Galician lawyer and politician from the PPdeG. She has been a senator for La Corunya since 2015, serving in the XI and XII Legislatures. After obtaining a law degree from the University of La Corunya, she began her political career at the age of 20 by joining the PPdeG, contributing first to the Young People's organization. She also held the position of legal advisor for the Melide City Council. She was elected senator in the 2015 general elections and successfully re-elected in 2016.
