Margaret Ferrell Vardell Sandresky (born 28 April 1921) is an accomplished American composer, organist, and educator. As a prominent figure in music theory, she co-founded the Society for Music Theory (SMT) and was its first female contributor. Remarkably, she continued to compose music well into her centenary, celebrating her 100th birthday as an active creator in the musical field. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on both music education and theory.
