Margaret Stride (born McGowan) is a former Canadian sprinter, born on December 21, 1954, in Simcoe, Ontario. She competed in various international events during the 1970s. At the 1974 British Commonwealth Games, she reached the semifinals in the 200 meters and won a bronze medal in the 4x400 meters relay. Stride also performed at the 1975 Pan American Games, where she finished sixth in the 400 meters and was part of the winning 4x400 meters relay team. At the 1976 Olympics, she reached the quarterfinals in the 400 meters and placed eighth in the relay.
