Margaret Alayne Elizabeth Davis was a prominent Australian politician and Liberal Party member. Born on 23 September 1933, she served in the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1967 to 1978. After her education in pharmacy at the University of Sydney, she became active in politics, joining the Liberal Party in 1959. Davis held numerous roles, including president of a Liberal branch and council member, before her tenure in the Legislative Council. Although she attempted to contest for the Legislative Assembly seat of Waverley, she was ultimately defeated in the election.
