Margaret Daum (1906-1977) was an American classical soprano known for her versatile performances in operettas and operas. After graduating from the Ithaca Conservatory of Music in 1928, she made a name for herself on Broadway with roles in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. Daum created roles in world premieres of Gian Carlo Menotti's operas and debuted at the Metropolitan Opera in 1937. She was also active in radio performances during the mid-20th century, showcasing her talents across various platforms.
