Margaret Dorothy Baker (1907-2003) was a British artist known for her landscape paintings and portraits. Born in Sydenham, South London, she studied at the Royal College of Art and later taught art at girls' schools. After marrying dental surgeon Kenneth Pringle in 1938, she lived in London until World War II. Following personal tragedies, her artistic output diminished, focusing mainly on watercolor landscapes. Despite her later struggles, her works are included in the permanent collection of the Tate Gallery.
