Marek Szala, born on August 19, 1958, in Lubsko, is a Polish artist, sculptor, and graphic designer known for creating hundreds of works across Poland, Europe, South America, North America, and Africa. He graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in Zakopane in 1978 and later became a teacher there. Szala completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1986, specializing in etching. He has received several awards, including a special prize from the Polish Minister of Culture in 2008 and recognition from the mayor of Zakopane in 2017.
