Marek Střihavka, known by his alias Benny or Benny/29A, is a Czech programmer born on March 24, 1982, in Brno. He gained notoriety for writing computer viruses as part of the international group 29A. After leaving the group in 2003, he worked as the lead developer of the Zoner AntiVirus program at ZONER software. Střihavka also began working at Safetica Technologies in 2012. He became publicly known in late 2004 when he was suspected of writing the SQL Slammer worm, leading to a police raid where his computing equipment was confiscated.
