Marek Kurzyk is a retired Polish rear admiral and a Master of Engineering navigator with experience as a naval officer on missile ships. He served as the commander of ORP 'Górnik' and the 2nd Missile Ship Division, as well as the commander of the 3rd Ship Flotilla in 2006. Additionally, he was deputy chief of staff of the Navy and from 2009 to 2011 served as the deputy chief of staff for Support at NATO's Maritime Component Command.
