Marek Antoni Dagnan was a Polish writer, poet, and author, born on January 28, 1937, in Nowy Bytom and passed away on October 3, 2016. He wrote songs for both adults and children, including scout songs and shanties. Dagnan also worked as a screenwriter for stage shows and animated films. He was a member of the Artistic Council of the KFPP in Opole and studied at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw.
