Marcel Van der Aa was a Belgian Flemish politician from the Christen-Democratisch en Vlaams party, born on August 9, 1924, in Bevereni vald, Ida-Flandria. He served as a union secretary and held various political positions in the Bevereni municipal council, including deputy mayor from 1961 to 1970, and mayor from 1970 to 1992. In honor of his contributions, a street in Bevereni was named Marcel Van der Aastraat in 2005. He passed away on September 5, 2002.
