Manuel Pérez-Gil y González was a Mexican clergyman who served as the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Tlalnepantla. He was born on January 13, 1921, in Morelia, Mexico, and was ordained a priest on April 10, 1943. He became the Bishop of Mexicali on July 18, 1966, appointed by Pope Paul VI, and was consecrated on October 18 that year. Later, on March 30, 1984, he was appointed Bishop of Tlalnepantla by Pope John Paul II, taking office on June 2, 1984, and became the first Archbishop of Tlalnepantla when the diocese was elevated on June 17, 1989.
