Malladi Subbamma (August 2, 1924 - May 15, 2014) was an Indian feminist writer, humanist, and pioneer of the women's liberation movement. She served as the editor of the magazine 'Stri Swadhinata' and focused on educating neglected women. Subbamma led an anti-alcohol movement that resulted in a ban on alcohol sales in Andhra Pradesh in 1994. She was the head of the Institute of Advancement of Women and organized study camps for women's education. Known for her commitment to humanism, she traveled nationwide promoting humanitarian causes alongside her husband, M.V. Ramamurthy.
