Mala Bakhtiyar, also known as حكمت محمد كريم, was a prominent Kurdish political figure and intellectual. Born in Khanqin, he joined the ranks of the Kurdish Marxist-Leninist League in 1970 and participated in the 1974 uprising, engaging actively in politics, armed struggle, and public activism. His contributions to Kurdish resistance and activism are notable among his contemporaries.
